Part Time Veterinary Surgeon

Salary up to £60,000 FTE DOE

Relocation allowance up to £5000

Join the team at Priory Vets and become part of our well-established, supportive, and forward-thinking veterinary group with sites in Cardigan, Crymych, and Lampeter. You'll be joining our site in Cardigan, however all our practices are RCVS GP-accredited and pride themselves on delivering high standards of care while maintaining a collaborative and friendly working environment. With a strong emphasis on clinical freedom, the team encourages vets to pursue their individual interests, while benefiting from a genuinely healthy work-life balance, including no out-of-hours commitments.

The group handles a varied and interesting caseload, giving you the opportunity to develop your clinical skills across a broad spectrum of cases. They are also committed to continuous professional development, offering funded CPD and certificate support to help you grow in your chosen areas of interest. The culture across all sites is inclusive and team-oriented, ensuring you feel supported from day one.

Our team and practice:

9 Veterinary Surgeons with expertise in orthopaedics, keyhole surgery, ultrasound, and dental radiography 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, including a CertECC holder 11 Support Staff, including VCAs and client care advisors Well equipped with digital x-ray and dental x-ray Ultrasound In-house laboratories

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

We're looking for a Vet to join us 32 hours per week We're flexible! We're happy to discuss hours to suit your commitments No out-of-hours or on-call work 1:4 Saturday until 3pm (1 full day of TOIL in lieu of this) Shifts either 8:30 - 5:30 or 9:30 - 6:30 shared between all other vets on a rota schedule

You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:

A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
