A rare opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who loves community practice (and finishing at 5pm!)
Ickenham | West London
Veterinary Surgeon | 4 days per week | No on-call

Nestled in a beautiful village setting within Greater London, Ickenham is a well-established community practice looking for a vet who enjoys building relationships, delivering excellent first opinion care and becoming the friendly face local pet owners know they can rely on.
The role
This is a sole charge position with a genuinely manageable GP caseload. Your day is designed to give you variety without feeling rushed:
- Morning consultations
- Routine surgery and procedures
- Time for admin and clinical follow-up
- Afternoon consultations

Mandeville Hospital provides access to advanced diagnostics, including CT, ultrasound, experienced medical teams and advanced surgical expertise, giving you confidence that your patients have excellent support when they need it.

The rota
- 9am–5pm, 4 days per week
- Wednesdays off
- 1:3 branch Saturday rota
- 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation
- Up to 2 bank holidays per year
- No on-call
The package
- £53,175–£79,762 per year (based on experience)
- Up to £2,000 CPD budget + paid CPD leave
- 6.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
- Private medical insurance with Bupa
- Relocation assistance available where applicable
