Key Responsibilities
As a Waking Night Care Assistant, your expertise will help our customers:
- Feel secure and well cared for between 10pm and 7am.
- Maintain their dignity and autonomy in their own homes.
Your day-to-day tasks include:
- Customising support to each customer’s personalised care plan.
- Assisting with personal care, repositioning, and night-time routines.
- Ensuring medication administration and ongoing wellbeing monitoring.
- Light household duties (e.g., tidying, laundry, keeping the environment safe).
- Providing reassurance and companionship to ease anxiety or loneliness.
- Communicating concerns promptly to the care team.

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle* (essential for all shifts).
- A kind, patient demeanour — caregiving requires empathy and calm under-pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to forge genuine relationships.
- Attention to detail, especially when following complex care plans.
- No prior experience is required — we invest in full induction and expert training.
