Job Description
bout the Role
We’re looking for a high‑energy Partner Business Manager to accelerate growth across our data solutions portfolio—covering storage, data protection, and virtualisation. You’ll own a set of Sliver partners and drive double‑digit YoY growth through joint planning, enablement, and pipeline creation. If you’re commercially sharp, love building relationships, and thrive in a fast‑growing tech environment, this is for you.
If you thrive in a collaborative environment, understand how to influence partners, and enjoy solving business challenges with technology, then HPE could be the right place for you!
What You’ll Do
Own and grow a portfolio of Silver partners, building quarterly joint business plans and holding partners accountable for outcomes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners (VARs, Distributors, SIs, ISVs, MSPs). Build and execute joint business plans to drive revenue, profitability, and pipeline. Communicate global and local strategy to partners, driving scalable “sell-with/to/through” motions. Gain deep understanding of partner priorities, market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Coordinate all activities between internal stakeholders and partners, including sales, marketing, education, and executive engagement. Tailor solution offerings to customer profiles and influence partner decisions to increase value and performance. Support recruitment and onboarding of new partners, helping strengthen commitment and capability. Ensure partners meet required compliance and program obligations. Monitor partner performance, forecast accurately, and identify opportunities to close gaps.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
