About The Role
The Partner & Counsel Onboarding Assistant is a key member of Latham’s Partner Recruiting & Integration team, supporting the coordination and delivery of the firmwide onboarding process for lateral partners and counsel. In this role, you will help ensure each lateral partner and counsel experiences a smooth and well-organised transition to the firm. This position is based in our London office and may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that includes a hybrid blend of in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation of a tailored onboarding schedule for each lateral partner and counsel, in accordance with the firm’s global lateral onboarding curriculum and in furtherance of the specific onboarding priorities for the lateral partner and counsel; providing assistance with the scheduling and, if necessary, rescheduling of each required meeting
- Providing assistance to the Partner & Counsel Onboarding Team by creating initial drafts of various onboarding deliverables and maintaining various internal checklists, workflow documents, and other materials utilised in the partner and counsel onboarding process
- Assisting in recording and analysing onboarding feedback data
- Working closely with other members of the Partner Recruiting & Integration (PRI) Department to ensure a seamless transition for each lateral partner and counsel from the recruiting phase to the onboarding phase
- Assisting the Partner & Counsel Onboarding Team and other members of the PRI Department with special projects, as needed

We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills to manage time, prioritise, and handle multiple deadlines
- Display strong attention to detail
- Possess the ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
And have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
- Law firm, administrative, or professional office experience, preferably
