Partner – Data, Measurement & Optimisation (Amplfi, Growth Solutions)

Purpose of the Role

We are rapidly advancing media, data and technology-led propositions within Growth Solutions, a scalable ecosystem of products, services and capabilities designed to help advertisers thrive in the algorithmic era. This spans:

  • Proprietary media solutions
  • High-performance marketplaces
  • Strategic advisory services
  • Data-driven decision tools

As Partner – Data, Measurement & Optimisation, you will:

  • Define and lead the long-term vision for data, measurement and optimisation across Growth Solutions.
  • Ensure these capabilities drive product innovation, competitive advantage and commercial growth, positioning dentsu as a market leader in measurable, data-driven advertising.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing Science, Data & Technology, and agency leadership, bridging insights with execution to deliver client-focused growth.


Key Responsibilities

1. Measurement Strategy & Effectiveness

  • Define the strategic measurement vision, standards and governance framework for Growth Solutions, ensuring alignment with client and business outcomes.
  • Drive innovation in AI-driven analytics, multi-touch measurement (MMM), attribution models, incrementality testing and experimentation to power data-backed decision-making.

2. Data Strategy & Audience Intelligence

  • Shape the data strategy for Growth Solutions, leveraging first-party and proprietary datasets to enhance targeting, personalisation, and performance.
  • Ensure robust data governance, privacy compliance and responsible data use, while fostering differentiated audience intelligence capabilities.

3. Optimisation & Performance

  • Establish scalable optimisation frameworks enabling continuous improvement across products, campaigns and client metrics.
  • Cultivate a test-and-learn culture, using performance insights to inform agile product roadmaps and commercial growth.

4. Client & Agency Advisory

  • Serve as senior strategic advisor for key client engagements, growth opportunities and stakeholder relations.
  • Collaborate with agency and business leaders to integrate measurement, data and optimisation into broader commercial strategies.

5. Product Development & Innovation

  • Own the strategic roadmap for data, measurement and optimisation within Growth Solutions, ensuring alignment with emerging technologies (AI/ML, predictive analytics) and market demand.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance solutions through advanced analytics, audience segmentation and new measurement approaches.

6. Leadership & Enablement

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting capability priorities, succession plans and talent development strategies.
  • Drive adoption of insight-driven best practices through thought leadership, executive sponsorship and organisation-wide enablement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years in media measurement, marketing effectiveness, data science, analytics or marketing science, within agencies, consultancies, media organisations or technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
    • Econometrics / Marketing Mix Modelling
    • Attribution modelling
    • Incrementality testing and causal analysis
    • A/B testing frameworks
    • AI/ML applications in advertising

Technical Expertise

  • Deep understanding of digital media ecosystems, first-party data activation and emerging advertising technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and responsible data use.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms (Spotify for Measurement, Numerator, Adept), dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau) and scalability solutions.
