About Boardwave

Boardwave brings together Europe's most ambitious technology leaders in a way that actually accelerates growth. With 2,000+ founders and CEOs, members access stage-matched support, real-time benchmarking, and ego-free collaboration with peers who have solved their exact challenges. Whether you're scaling internationally, navigating Series B, or building towards €100m+, membership is free thanks to our partner ecosystem. Together, we're proving Europe's leaders can scale faster and stronger.

The Role

This is an external-facing role sitting at the heart of what makes Boardwave work. You'll own the day-to-day relationships with our partner portfolio ranging from top-tier investors to law firms and professional services firms, making sure each one gets value from the network and our programme through engagement. Your role will be understanding what each partner is actually trying to achieve: engaging with the right members, collaborating with the right programme, and making sure they're in the right rooms. You'll approach every partnership differently, shaping each strategy around the stage and geography that matters most to the partner. Then make it happen, using every lever the Boardwave community offers.

What You'll Do

  • Work alongside all our partner accounts end-to-end: onboarding, activation, and quarterly reviews
  • Support our Head of Partnerships with commercial opportunities
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders (Partners, MDs, CMOs) and become the person they call, not just the person who sends the update email
  • Map each partner's commercial goals to Boardwave's events, introductions, content, and community touchpoints, holding yourself accountable for delivery
  • Spend time deeply understanding a partner’s business and how they map to our community, owning co-marketing plans that we can bring to life (via our marketing team) through activities like roundtables, offers, and content
  • Support renewal conversations with confidence, bringing data, stories, and a clear view of what the next year could look like
  • Represent Boardwave at events and dinners, building your own presence within the community

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We're Looking For

We're a small, fast-moving team. The right person is someone who gets energy from figuring things out, moves quickly, and takes ownership without being asked.

  • Proven experience in account management, customer success, or partnerships, ideally managing a portfolio of partners (marketing background is a plus but not required)
  • Background in sponsorships, media, events, or professional networks. You understand how relationship-based commercial models work
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and you're expected to get things done without a big team around you
  • Ability to ideate with partners around marketing plans and think about unique ways to bring their services to our members, working alongside a marketing executive and a growth marketer to bring your ideas to life
  • Strong communicator who can work closely with senior stakeholders at a partner
  • Commercial instinct: you understand the difference between a happy client and a client who's getting ROI, and you know how to close the gap
  • Organised and rigorous. Managing multiple relationships means being on top of the detail without being buried in it
  • A genuine interest in the European tech and startup world
