As a Partner in the Hertford & Royston Agency, you’ll be at the heart of a highly respected insurance business with deep roots in the community. You’ll support a diverse client base across farming, commercial, high net worth and rural sectors, delivering the high standards of service that define NFU Mutual.

You’ll bring a strong understanding of the rural economy and use it to build meaningful commercial relationships across our specialist sectors. Your leadership and strategic thinking will help shape the agency’s direction, drive growth, and unlock its full potential.

Your experience and ambitions for the future

You’ll play a pivotal role in the Hertford & Royston Agency, joining the leadership team to help shape the business and drive its future direction. With a genuine passion for farming and the rural economy, you’ll create tailored insurance solutions that meet the needs of agricultural, high net worth, and commercial clients. You’ll be ambitious about growing the business while continuing to support and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

Your focus will be on expanding our presence in the farming sector, while also working with SME and corporate clients across a variety of industries. NFU Group Secretary

One of the other aspects of this opportunity is being appointed an NFU Group Secretary. You’ll be the voice of the Union, bringing the agriculture community together and sharing best-practice and policy updates. With full backing from the NFU, you’ll have access to expert advice and specialist support on everything from policy and increasing membership numbers to marketing and media. In this role you’re supporting the needs of this active farming community and opening doors to future business opportunities for your agency.
