About the Role

This is a rare and exciting entrepreneurial opportunity to establish and grow this key service within our Newcastle office.

As Partner for Project and Programme Delivery, you will have the autonomy to shape and develop a market-leading offer — taking ownership of how we position, deliver and grow Project and Programme Delivery across the region. This role will suit an ambitious and well-connected individual who enjoys leading from the front, building trusted client relationships and driving successful project outcomes, without unnecessary constraints.

You will play a prominent role within a growing office of around 16 people, sitting as a visible and influential member of the senior leadership team, helping to shape both our service offering and wider office strategy.

Based in Newcastle city centre, with excellent public transport links, the office is already well established across a variety of sectors including health and public sectors, regeneration and manufacturing. We are deliberately open-minded about the additional sector expertise, client relationships and regional insight you could bring, particularly through strong networks across the Tyneside area and wider Northeast.

Working collaboratively as part of a work-winning leadership team, you will identify opportunities to cross-sell Ridge’s wider services, while building a strong Project Management capability focused on delivery excellence, programme leadership and long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing the Project and Programme Delivery service within the Newcastle office
  • Playing an active role in the senior leadership team, shaping office strategy, culture and growth
  • Being part of the wider national Project and Programme Delivery discipline working groups
  • Creating and delivering a clear business plan and growth strategy for this key service
  • Driving business development, leveraging your network and reputation across the region
  • Building, nurturing and maintaining long-term, trusted client relationships
  • Working collaboratively with Partners and teams across the business to cross-sell services
  • Acting as a client-facing Partner, leading projects, programmes and multidisciplinary teams
  • Providing strategic oversight across delivery, ensuring quality, programme and risk are effectively managed
  • Setting and maintaining the highest standards of professional and technical excellence
  • Recruiting, developing and mentoring future talent, building a high-performing team around you
  • Providing hands-on leadership on complex or high-profile commissions where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
