Partner – Court of Protection (High-Value Injury)
Location: South West (Hybrid)

At HarKaye Core Talent, we partner with some of the UK's most respected specialist law firms. We're currently instructed on a confidential Partner opportunity within an established and highly regarded claimant practice that has built an outstanding reputation in catastrophic injury and clinical negligence.
This is a rare opportunity to lead and grow a specialist Court of Protection offering, working alongside an exceptional team that secures life-changing outcomes for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries.
The Opportunity
You'll join an ambitious, collaborative leadership team with genuine autonomy to shape and develop the Court of Protection practice. The firm has a significant pipeline of high-value catastrophic injury work and is looking for a senior leader who can build upon an already excellent reputation.
The role offers the chance to work closely with leading catastrophic injury and clinical negligence lawyers, supporting clients with complex financial and property affairs following life-changing injuries.

Whether you're already a Partner or an ambitious Legal Director or Senior Associate with a proven following and leadership credentials, this opportunity offers a genuine platform for long-term career progression.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a specialist Court of Protection team.
- Manage a portfolio of complex, high-value deputyship and trustee matters.
- Advise clients who have sustained catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and severe birth injury cases.
- Work collaboratively with catastrophic injury and clinical negligence teams to provide seamless client support.
- Supervise and mentor lawyers within the team.
- Contribute to strategic growth, business development, and networking initiatives.
- Build relationships with case managers, professional deputies, charities, rehabilitation providers, and other referrers.
About You
We're keen to speak with experienced Court of Protection lawyers who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience managing complex Court of Protection matters.
- A strong track record advising vulnerable clients and families.
- Experience acting as Professional Deputy or supporting deputyship services.
- Leadership or team management experience.
- Commercial awareness and an appetite to help shape and grow a specialist practice.
- Excellent relationship-building and business development skills.
