The Role
As a Partner Risk Management Analyst, you’ll help ensure BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK:
- Works only with financially stable partners
- Maintains effective controls to identify and manage partner-related risks
- Protects the business as our customer base grows
Your responsibilities will include monitoring financial data, maintaining risk scorecards, and supporting credit reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting Partner Risk Management credit reviews for all existing partners (financial and KPI monitoring).
- Maintain and analyse the internal partner risk scorecard database, ensuring data accuracy and highlighting trends or anomalies.
- Prepare and present risk reports for business line forums and management meetings (includes meeting packs and minutes).
- Support completion of key controls under the Partner Risk Management framework.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to investigate irregularities in risk reporting.
- Monitor partner-related media alerts and regulatory updates (e.g., FCA regulations) and escalate findings.
- Assist in credit review and underwriting of new partners across Point of Sale, Home Improvements, and Motor Finance.

Skills & Attributes
- Background in accounting or experience analysing financial statements.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to make sound, data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—crucial for collaboration and influencing across teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
