Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is looking for a Partnership Account Manager to manage a portfolio of customer contracts across the East Midlands.
All applicants must have a full UK driving licence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Account Manager who enjoys building lasting customer relationships, delivering exceptional service and driving profitable growth across an established portfolio of Public Sector contracts.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, typically between 8:00am and 5:00pm, although flexibility is required to support customer and business requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of Public Sector contracts across the East Midlands, ensuring excellent customer service, contract compliance and long-term retention.
- Building trusted relationships with customers at every level, from operatives through to Directors.
- Delivering profitable growth by identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Working collaboratively with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, IT and other business functions to deliver the best possible customer solutions.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers to maximise contract support, improve product knowledge and identify innovative solutions.
- Ensuring contracts are delivered in line with agreed terms, conditions, KPIs and SLAs.
- Delivering value for money throughout the lifetime of customer contracts by driving efficiencies and continuous improvement.
- Supporting the development and delivery of customer social value plans and contributing to wider social value initiatives across JPS.
- Assisting with contract mobilisations and demobilisations alongside the JPS Implementation Manager.
- Working with the Commercial Team to maintain product catalogues, pricing, contract support and other commercial agreements.
- Supporting tender and re-tender activities by providing customer insight and helping develop high-quality, competitive submissions.
- Working proactively with customers ahead of contract renewals to understand changing requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Building effective relationships across the wider STARK business to ensure outstanding service and uncover opportunities for growth.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of new business pipelines within your designated region.
- Maintaining accurate customer information and activity within the CRM system.
- Acting as an ambassador for the Jewson Purpose and Values in every customer interaction.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing customer accounts within a customer-facing commercial environment.
- Experience within the Public Sector market is preferred, with a strong understanding of its influencing factors.
- A proven track record of customer retention, sales growth and margin improvement.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at every level.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness with the ability to turn analysis into profitable outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple business functions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A customer-first approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good commercial acumen, attention to detail and experience using Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
- A degree or business-related qualification is desirable.
