Job Title: Partnerships & Activations (In-store) Manager

Reporting to: Product Strategy & Marketing Lead

About the role:

This role sits within The Partnership Marketing Team, with a close connection to the Shopper Marketing team; an action orientated team that shapes how our products are communicated to consumers in-store. The role will have high visibility with distinct areas of ownership where you can really showcase your influencing and project management skills. The key responsibilities will include activating our Nutrition partnerships across 360 marketing with a digital first approach as well as leading our physical partnerships in in-store environments that are traditionally clothing first, introducing nutrition to the stores for a complete offering. A knowledge of Partnership marketing, Pop-up activation and in-store merchandising will give you a big advantage.

The role includes leading the ideation and execution of our licensing in and out partnership, focusing on in-store permanent displays, developing new creative concepts, and supporting any in real life activation that needs that extra care and attention to feel like a consistent brand touch point. A passion for sustainability is appreciated.

Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Responsible for briefing and optimising design strategies for partnership products in collaboration with the Brand team, NPD, Partnerships and Creative Team.
  • Lead marketing point of contact for a selection of our licensee’s and licensor’s, to manage all year round activations.
  • Launch new partnerships, globally. This includes both licencing in and out.
  • Optimise marketing plans for channels in the Myprotein marketing ecosystem, as well as identifying new opportunities to reach new audiences and hit financial targets.
  • Lead on our trade show activations throughout the year. Bringing a concept to life that can be scaled and optimised, depending on the environment.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve customer experience – most notably the shopper marketing, brand, clothing and packaging function.
  • Work closely with the packaging and clothing team to make our retail offering fit for purpose, and to bring to life in-store.
  • Work with the shopper marketing managers to align what the brand looks like across all in-real-life moments.
  • Creation and delivery of sell-ins to new partner retailers.
  • Liaise with suppliers and agencies to create in-store activations.
  • In-store accounts include high-street clothing retailers, gym expansion projects and our own branded locations, including shop-in-shop experiences and the Myprotein kitchen.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Preferred at least 3 year working in brand or product led marketing.
  • Experience in managing real life activations, bringing practicality and creativity into one amazing end point.
  • Experience in apparel is preferred but not essential.
  • Creativity and innovation – a keen visual eye and ability to see the opportunity in novel ideas
  • Strong communication skills and resilience - specifically the ability to co-ordinate and communicate vision to other members of the team and external partners
  • Interpersonal skills – empathy, ability to get on with and influence a wide variety of people at all levels, including designers, marketing teams, supply chain, trading managers and senior management.
  • Drive for results - we are looking for accountable success and results
  • Project Management – ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects at once

Preferred Requirements

  • Interest and knowledge in the sports, health and wellbeing markets
  • Keen interest in sustainability with some level of experience.
  • Relationship management experience
  • Experience in FMCG or CPG A level of understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools (PPC, Email, Social, SEO, PR) and an interest in data and insights
  • FMCG experience
