Job Summary
Working in the south regional team, the Partnership and Business Development Manager will play a critical role working with key stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to support the creation of a strong pipeline of investable projects.
Drawing on experience of working with housing pipeline data, coordinating programmes of work, and supporting funding approvals, you will help to drive forward Homes England’s mission in the West of England and Gloucestershire area.
You will be joining a highly experienced and friendly team who are committed to making a positive difference by unlocking land, investment, and delivery to create new homes and thriving communities.
About the Role
The team is focused on building strong, effective partnerships and taking an innovative and proactive approach to overcoming barriers in development. We work closely with:
- Local authorities
- Developers
- Investors
- Other stakeholders
Coordination of activities across projects and programmes includes:
- Structured engagement through multi-functional teams
- Steering groups
- Programme planning

Key Responsibilities
The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic and complex projects, balancing: ✅ Day-to-day delivery for instance:
- Securing funding approvals
- Maintaining programme plans
- Tracking risks and dependencies
✅ Longer-term strategies, including:
- Pipeline development
- Innovative approaches to development
The internal job title for this role is Manager – Projects.
