Job Title: Retail Brand Partnership Closer

Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Flexible)

Salary: £12.71 per hour + Uncapped Commission

About Tales House London:

TALES House London is a curated, multi-brand experiential retail space by Bellafricana, located on Oxford Street. The space brings together a rotating selection of African and diaspora brands across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and creative industries.

More than a traditional retail store, TALES House is designed as a storytelling and discovery space where customers engage with products, people, culture, and experiences in an immersive and memorable way. The space combines retail, community, content, and culture to create a unique in-person and digital brand experience.

The space operates 7 days a week (approx. 10 am–8 pm) with a small, close-knit team.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a confident and commercially driven Retail Brand Partnership Closer to help identify, engage, and onboard exceptional brands into our curated retail space in the heart of London's West End.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, negotiating partnerships, and closing deals. You will work directly with founders of premium fashion, beauty, lifestyle, home, art, and creative brands, helping them understand the value of showcasing their products through TALES House while contributing to the growth of a unique retail destination.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source high-potential fashion, beauty, lifestyle, home, and creative brands locally and internationally.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective brand partners through outbound outreach, referrals, networking events, trade shows, social media, and inbound enquiries.
  • Conduct discovery calls and present the value of partnering with TALES House through professional consultations and virtual or in-person meetings.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements, including pop-up activations, multi-brand showcases, product placements, and long-term retail residencies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing brand partners, ensuring an exceptional onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with the operations, merchandising, and marketing teams to successfully launch new brands in-store.
  • Consistently achieve partnership and revenue targets while maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, partnerships, retail, account management, luxury retail, or a customer-facing commercial role is an advantage but not essential.
  • An excellent communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident presenting ideas and handling objections professionally.
  • Commercially minded with a passion for achieving targets and closing deals.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Passionate about fashion, lifestyle, culture, entrepreneurship, and supporting emerging brands.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to contribute to the growth of an innovative retail business.
