Dyfed Powys Partnership and Development Coordinator (Female-Only Role)
Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres, this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
Salary & Hours
- Salary: £35,000 per annum
- Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About The Trust & Context
The Nelson Trust provides holistic support for women involved with the Criminal Justice System (CJS) under the supervision of the National Probation Service. Services support:
- Women serving community orders
- Women released from HMP Eastwood Park
The Nelson Trust Women’s Centres offer gender-responsive, trauma-informed support including:
- Housing
- Substance misuse
- Health interventions
- Financial management
- Childcare & family support
- Education & employment opportunities
- Emotional and practical interventions
The goal is to reduce re-offending, alleviate social harm, and empower women to fully realise their potential within a women-only, safe space.

About The Role
As Dyfed Powys Partnership and Development Coordinator, you will:
Lead And Direct Service Delivery
- Provide clear strategic direction for the Dyfed Powys team
- Offer expert guidance and strong leadership to enable women to access effective pathways away from criminal justice involvement
Collaborate With Key Stakeholders
- Engage with local organisations, decision-makers, and women with lived experience to define and deliver improved outcomes
- Contribute to developing and embedding a sustainable Whole Systems Approach (WSA) centred on individual needs
Strengthen Local Coordination & Service Delivery
- Work collaboratively with partners in Dyfed Powys and North Wales to deliver high-quality, consistent services
- Drive local partnerships, promote co-location opportunities, and expand women’s satellite hubs to ensure accessibility
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and develop partnerships to ensure seamless service provision
- Promote a whole-system, women-centred approach aligned with trusted orthodoxy principles
- Liaise with police, probation services, health, and housing providers
- Support developing well-structured pathways for women across education, employment, and housing assistance
- Engage with communities to enhance understanding/share best practices
- Contribute to innovation in providing pathways out of criminal justice systems
