Description
We are looking for a commercially minded and proactive Partnership Development Executive to join our growing commercial team! This is an exciting opportunity to help identify, develop and progress new commercial partnership opportunities, playing a key role in growing our global sponsorship portfolio.
Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you will support the full sponsorship sales lifecycle, from identifying prospective partners and developing compelling commercial propositions to supporting sales activity and industry events. This role offers excellent exposure to commercial strategy, rights development and sponsorship sales within a fast-paced Formula One environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of prospective commercial partners through market research, networking, prospecting and industry intelligence.
- Research target organisations and identify new sponsorship opportunities aligned with the team's commercial strategy.
- Develop compelling sponsorship proposals, rights packages and sales presentations tailored to prospective partners.
- Utilise research platforms, CRM systems and AI-enabled tools to generate market insights, improve prospecting and maintain accurate opportunity tracking.
- Support Partnership Sales leads throughout the sales process, including preparing materials, coordinating meetings and managing prospect hospitality programmes.
- Assist with the planning, research and delivery of industry conferences, networking events and commercial activations to maximise lead generation.
- Monitor sponsorship trends, competitor activity and emerging industries to identify new commercial opportunities and revenue streams.
- Build strong relationships with internal departments to develop innovative partnership solutions that align with team objectives.
- Continuously develop knowledge of the global sports sponsorship landscape and contribute ideas to enhance commercial performance.
- Provide high-quality administrative and project support to ensure opportunities progress efficiently through the sales pipeline.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in sales, business development, commercial partnerships or sponsorship.
- An interest in and understanding of the sports sponsorship market and the commercial partnership lifecycle.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality proposals and presentations.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercially curious, proactive and confident identifying new business opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable using research tools, CRM platforms and AI-enabled technologies to support business development activities.
- Self-motivated, collaborative and solutions-focused, with a desire to learn and develop within a high-performance environment.
