Our Partnership Development Manager - Trade
Our Partnership Development Manager - Trade is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key trade relationships and developing strategic partnerships across the travel trade. You’ll identify, influence and convert new business opportunities, whilst developing existing partnerships to maximise commercial growth and market share.
This is a field-based role covering Scotland & Cumbria. Candidates must be able to travel extensively throughout the region, the UK and overseas and will ideally be based within the sales region.
Reporting to the National Sales & Partnership Manager – Trade, this role requires a comprehensive understanding of the Jet2holidays sales proposition, targets, strategy and objectives. You will be responsible for communicating these effectively to travel agent partners to increase product knowledge, enhance brand awareness, strengthen trade relationships and drive commercial growth in line with company targets.

What You’ll Do…
- Drive booking growth in line with company targets and support the delivery of the overall Travel Agent Channel strategy.
- Identify and proactively develop new business opportunities within the travel trade, following up on new leads, referrals and high-potential growth accounts.
- Establish new relationships across the travel trade whilst developing and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including business owners, sales consultants, managers, airports, tourist boards, hotel partners and other industry contacts.
- Take ownership of selected key trade partners, implementing account development plans that include agreed targets, strategies, timescales and performance measures.
- Identify accounts with the potential to become strategic partners and work collaboratively to grow, develop and maximise their commercial performance.
- Assist the National Sales & Partnership Manager – Trade, developing and implementing sales activities, marketing campaigns, branding initiatives and joint marketing opportunities, plus manage an allocated budget that ensure Jet2holidays remains front of mind with both travel agents and consumers.
- Conduct regular account review meetings with key stakeholders, monitoring performance, identifying opportunities and agreeing future growth plans.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across Jet2holidays and support large retail and non-retail accounts on a national basis.
- Represent Jet2holidays at industry events, conferences, familiarisation trips, exhibitions, hospitality events and other trade engagement activities.
- Monitor competitor activity, market developments and emerging trends, ensuring management is informed of any opportunities or risks that could impact business performance.
- Produce detailed reports and insights, including market intelligence, competitor analysis, account performance, agent sentiment, visit feedback and strategic recommendations.
- Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and business presentations to travel agent partners and industry stakeholders.
- Support the National Sales & Partnership Manager – Trade with trading calls, presentations, reporting, statistics and other business requirements.
- Lead through influence by supporting, mentoring, coaching and developing Sales Partners to drive individual and team success.
- Work flexibly as required, including occasional weekends, bank holidays and evenings to support trade events, conferences, exhibitions and other business activities.

- Previous experience within the leisure travel industry and a strong understanding of the travel trade landscape is essential.
- Proven ability to secure commercial opportunities, drive sales growth and deliver measurable results.
- Strong commercial awareness and passion for sales with excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven, with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across a variety of business functions and organisational levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to a range of audiences.
- Ability to coach, mentor, motivate and support colleagues and partners to achieve shared objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
