Role Title: Partnership Development Manager
Location: Remote (Midlands/East)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover)
Working pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours (occasional evening and weekend work may be required)

What will you be doing?
As our Partnership Development Manager, you’ll lead the strategic development, impact, and growth of designated Place partnerships.
You’ll:
- Build and maintain high-impact relationships with key partners to grow British Cycling’s Place-based programmes.
- Lead and manage programme delivery teams, ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.
- Develop deep-level contacts across your portfolio, identifying opportunities and evolving our partnership offer.
- Coordinate British Cycling workstreams across partnership areas, consulting with internal teams to maximise service provision.
- Operate cross-functionally and nationally to enhance service delivery and grow our partner network.
- Lead and manage direct reports, developing a high-performing, purpose-driven team culture.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a strategic, relationship-driven leader with:
- A degree-level education and significant project management experience.
- Proven success in growing participation and delivering impactful programmes.
- Experience developing and implementing place-based delivery plans, working across partners to achieve shared outcomes.
- A track record of securing and managing partnership agreements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- High integrity, objectivity, and the ability to lead change.
- A passion for leading remote teams and developing talent.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across functions and regions.
