Partnership Manager
Based at Virginia Water, Surrey
Fixed Term Contract – September 2026 to October 2027
Hybrid – 3 days in the office

The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous:
- DP World Tour
- Staysure Legends Tour
- HotelPlanner Tour
We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest – the Ryder Cup.
Are you ready to take the lead in delivering key sponsorship programs for some of the biggest names in golf? We're looking for a dynamic Partnership Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of key sponsorships across the DP World Tour and HotelPlanner Tour.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be the go-to person for our partners, managing:
- Day-to-day relationships
- Bringing sponsorship activations to life
- Ensuring all contractual rights are delivered
You'll collaborate closely with teams across:
- Marketing
- Broadcast
- Content
- Digital
- Media
- Championship Management
to create and execute integrated partner programs that drive engagement and value. You'll also:
- Oversee on-site tournament activations
- Ensure a seamless experience for partners and stakeholders

To succeed, you’ll need:
- Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills
- A solid understanding of sports sponsorship and brand activation
- Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
This role involves working with some of the world’s leading brands in golf, potentially requiring international travel and extended hours during key events.
Due to tournament requirements, the latest start date for this role will be 1st September 2026
What You’ll Do
- Manage sponsor accounts, ensuring alignment with:
- Business objectives
- Contractual commitments
- Foster strong relationships with:
- Sponsors
- Agencies
- Internal teams (through proactive communication)
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key sponsor contacts, managing:
- Expectations
- Opportunities to enhance partnerships
- Plan, project manage, and deliver onsite activations for multiple tournament partners
- Prioritise tasks to ensure:
- Deadlines are met
- Projects stay on track
- Prepare clear, accurate reports, presentations, and communications to:
- Update stakeholders
- Demonstrate partnership value
- Oversee sponsorship-related financial processes, including:
- Invoicing
- Budget tracking
- Compliance

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in:
- Sponsorship or account management
- Preferably from a rights holder, agency, or brand background
- Proven experience in sports sponsorship, including:
- Managing multiple sponsorship activations and events
- Experience managing internal teams and external partners to deliver effective sponsorship programs
- First-hand experience working:
- On-site at events
- Within a sponsorship-led business
- Familiarity with financial processes, including:
- Invoicing
- Reporting (within sponsorship or marketing functions)
- Proactive, capable of:
- Anticipating challenges
- Implementing solutions
- Adaptable and driven by initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
