Partnership Manager – Hyundai Capital UK (HCUK)
Salary range: Up to £65k plus bonus (15% on-target earnings)

About the Role
A tremendous opportunity exists for applicants to join Ayvens in a developing business area as a Partnership Manager supporting Hyundai Capital UK (HCUK).
Partnership Models form a key component of the Ayvens group strategy and are pivotal to growth plans. The Partnership channel is responsible for developing sustainable growth from OEM and retail-branded partnerships, some operating under a white-labelled model. Currently, LVS, Tesla, Polestar, and HCUK (Fleet Management) are the primary focus, with ambitions to expand further using the Lombard and HCUK blueprints.
This is an exceedingly exciting time to play an influential role in a progressive area of Ayvens, with strong remuneration (competitive salary + bonus) and a strong benefits package.
Primary Objective
- Manage and optimise the relationship between Ayvens and HCUK
- Collaborate with Head of Partnerships, business owners, and process owners to achieve annual HCUK volume, revenue, and profitability targets
- Define and lead HCUK change and continuous improvement activity to:
- Drive operational efficiencies
- Exceed contracted SLA expectations
- Maximise volume, revenue, and profitability opportunities
- Ensure all activities and strategies align with Consumer Duty regulations on fairness, transparency, and consumer protection
Areas of Responsibility
- Work closely with the Head of Partnerships and relevant process owners to:
- Own and develop the value proposition for HCUK, Ayvens, and our joint customers
- Take E2E ownership of HCUK Partnership agreements (in-life development, renegotiation)
- Ensure contractual obligations and commercial objectives are met
- Adapt strategies/tactics as requirements evolve
- Act as the lead day-to-day point of contact for HCUK’s Partnership Manager on:
- Commercial matters
- Operational concerns
- Process continuity/enhancement initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HCUK decision-makers at senior executive level through:
- Regular meetings to set key objectives and discuss growth opportunities
- Coordination with Heads of Department and internal stakeholders to collate HCUK performance reports (SLAs)
- Driving improvements to close SLA gaps
- Provide day-to-day support to HCUK and internal managers for query resolution
- Communicate HCUK requirements to applicable internal support and sales teams
- Monitor and report on legislative and industry developments affecting HCUK/OEM customers

Role Requirements
Leadership
- Develop and execute a clear strategic vision for HCUK, tailored to maximise partnership potential
- Act as the primary advocate for:
- HCUK/KIA/HYUNDAI/Genesis (the ‘Partners’) within Ayvens UK
- Ayvens and its value proposition to external partners
Collaborating and Influencing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service levels
- Influence stakeholders to meet:
- HCUK targets
- Market/customer demands
- Regulatory compliance (SG/FinTech standards)
- Maintain strong central commerce/OEM Partnership team relationships
- Build/grow senior-level relationships with HCUK decision-makers to support leadership
- Champion Consumer Duty compliance across internal/external teams
Leading Change
- Drive bold change to optimise the HCUK partnership
- Execute clear, well-communicated transformation plans to:
- Engage stakeholders
- Create energy/momentum around business goals
Technical Capabilities
- Relationship Management:
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship-building skills
- Strong trust and credibility as key partner representative
- Financial Acumen:
- Deliver measurable results within budgets/goals
- Reporting and Systems:
- Track and monitor local/international SLAs/KPIs
- Develop robust methodologies for HCUK performance oversight
- Risk Management:
- Work with Head of Partnerships to ensure compliance
- Maintain effective monitoring/control processes for statutory regulatory adherence

Desired Previous Experience
- Track record of similar success in Senior Account Management or Partner Relationship Management within OEM/vehicle leasing contexts
- Demonstrated history of:
- Leading change and continuous improvement
- Driving efficiency, exceeding SLAs, and maximising profitability
- Strong financial/commercial awareness, + excellent relationship & communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in account development, business growth, and sustainable expansion
