Partnership Manager (Sponsorship & Activation)- Based in Manchester
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom (with regular presence required near key sponsorship venues)
Role Overview The Partnership Specialist will be responsible for delivering and activating BYD UK’s major sponsorships, with a strong focus on on-site execution and corporate hospitality. Based in Manchester and regularly present at key sponsorship venues, this role manages corporate client relationships through sponsorship hospitality programmes and ensures integrated activation across offline and online channels. Activation impact is often more critical than sponsorship ownership itself.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver sponsorship activations across matchdays and non-matchdays.

Serve as the on-site point of contact between BYD UK, rights holders, agencies, and suppliers.

Coordinate internal teams (Marketing, PR, Digital, Sales) to align online and offline activation resources.

Ensure sponsorship rights are fully leveraged and translated into tangible brand and commercial value.

Oversee on-site execution, including branding, events, guest experience, and compliance.

Monitor activation performance and support internal reporting on sponsorship ROI.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in partnerships, sponsorship activation, sports marketing, or event marketing.

Strong on-site execution capability and stakeholder management skills.

Experience managing corporate hospitality programmes is preferred.

Commercially minded with strong brand and business awareness.

Comfortable working close to venues and during key events, including evenings and weekends.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Additional Information

Base Location: Manchester, UK (regular travel to key sponsorship venues required).
