We are a young arts organisation at an exciting and pivotal moment in our development. Now in our fourth year we are looking for a creative, driven individual who can realise the potential of our assets and make a transformational difference to our growth, long-term future, and financial sustainability.
The Partnerships and Commercial Manager is a newly created role designed for an energetic, highly motivated self-starter. Reporting directly to the Founders and Artistic Director, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio encompassing venue hire, individual giving, corporate sponsorship, and entrepreneurial commercial activities. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity for someone with a demonstrable track record of generating income in a cultural setting who is excited to help STST shape a more equitable cultural future.
Responsibilities Overview:
Corporate Sponsorship and Commercial Activity

- Develop new commercial income streams, such as an online shop or hospitality leasing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
