About the Role
We are seeking a Partnerships and Engagement Manager for the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Diversity in Data Visualization – DIVERSE CDT.
DIVERSE CDT is a major initiative in doctoral training, based at City St George's, University of London, and the University of Warwick. Backed by £10M of EPSRC, University and partner funding, DIVERSE CDT is training 5 cohorts of 12 PhD students in data visualization. This dynamic programme includes PhD student collaboration with industrial partners, academics across the university and international visualization labs.

The Partnerships & Engagement Manager will work closely with the Centre Manager and lead on all aspects of the Partner Network to maximise the impact of DIVERSE CDT and the experience of its students. Core responsibilities include growing, sustaining, and nurturing the DIVERSE CDT Partner Network by retaining and securing diverse, reliable and value-adding partners who are committed to DIVERSE CDT’s values and objectives – looking for new opportunities that deliver impact.
About You
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and have experience of business development activities in a commercial or not-for-profit environment, with demonstrable success in building and nurturing relationships with external partners, as well as experience of successful operational management and delivery of complex multi-stakeholder projects.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of higher education systems, processes, policies, procedures, internal and external regulations, legislation, and quality standards, as well as experience of web marketing, using email, social media, and other online marketing aimed at professional stakeholders.
