About Us
Stride Treglown is an employee-owned architectural and design practice and a certified B Corp. Since 1953, we have believed that great design requires a human approach, deep local knowledge, and specialist expertise. We are one of the UK’s largest practices, with over 300 specialists working across nine studios.
As a 100% Employee-Owned Trust, our colleagues are genuine stakeholders in our collective success. We work collaboratively, without ego, and are committed to delivering projects that make a positive contribution to our communities and the environment.
About the Role
We are creating a new role within our Winning Work team to strengthen our Exceptional Experience programme and support our market-facing directors. This role sits at the heart of how we nurture client relationships, develop partnerships, and deliver a consistently excellent client experience across the practice.
This is a focused client care and executive-level support role, designed to introduce dedicated capability that adds long-term value. By providing proactive client intelligence, partnership support, and practical coordination, you will enable our directors to focus their time on high-value, outward-facing activity.
While elements of the role are operational, it is a strategically important position with real influence over how we build, maintain, and strengthen relationships. You will work closely with the wider Winning Work team, supporting directors and senior leaders through insight, structure, and thoughtful coordination.
The Winning Work team is based across Bath, Bristol, and Plymouth. The preferred location for this role is Bath or Bristol, with flexibility to travel to other studios as required. The role is anticipated to be 3–4 days per week (22.5 to 30 hours).
Key Responsibilities
The role is structured around three clear pillars:
Strategic Client Intelligence & Insight
Providing timely, relevant insight to support account management and partnership development. Key activities include:
- Producing regular client and opportunity reports.
- Managing monthly LEADS opportunity tracking to support pipeline visibility.
- Researching clients, business structures, and relevant industry news ahead of meetings and events.
- Preparing client biographies and company profiles.
- Researching event attendees to support purposeful engagement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
