Partnerships Manager
Hayes, London - Hybrid
£40,000 - £55,000 + uncapped commission
We’re looking for a commercially sharp, relationship-led Partnerships Manager to own a fast-growing channel that’s central to our success. You’ll work with the UK’s leading employee benefits providers, helping them bring our salary sacrifice schemes to thousands of employers and their teams. This is a chance to build long-term strategic partnerships, spot new opportunities, and play a key role in growing one of the most exciting parts of The Electric Car Scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of referral and strategic partners, acting as the primary relationship owner and driving long-term, mutual commercial success.
- Work with the Head of Partnerships to develop and execute account plans for key partners, with clear engagement strategies, performance targets, and growth objectives.
- Monitor partner performance, identify opportunities to improve engagement and referrals, and lead commercial conversations to maximise results.
- Identify, secure, negotiate, and onboard new strategic partnerships across key channels, including employee benefits consultancies, HR platforms, brokers, and IFAs.
- Deliver regular partner reviews, training, and ongoing support, ensuring partners have the tools, knowledge, and resources to successfully promote ECS.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for partner-referred clients and provide commercial insights to support product development.
- Maintain accurate partnership records, pipeline activity, commission reporting, and forecasting within Pipedrive.
- Represent ECS at industry events/webinars and contribute to partnership pipeline development through both proactive business development and inbound opportunities.

About you:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic account management within a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex, long-term commercial relationships, including both retention and growth.
- Demonstrated success in reactivating or improving performance of underperforming accounts, not solely maintaining existing performance.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts and working through legal or procurement processes.
- Experience contributing to or leading tender and RFP responses.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a diverse portfolio and competing priorities effectively.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities and ambiguity.
