What you’ll do

This is a high-impact commercial role at the heart of how 118 118 Money acquires customers. As Partnerships Manager, you will own the affiliate channel end-to-end, managing our relationships with key aggregator partners and driving new bookings to budget across credit cards and loans.

You will be a key member of the Marketing and Commercial teams, responsible not only for hitting volume targets but for doing so through the right mix of quality, compliance and commercial efficiency. This role demands both strategic thinking and exceptional operational rigour: you'll be running a daily performance check, maintaining rolling partner plans, and owning every initiative from hypothesis to documented outcome.

You will run a daily performance check across the full funnel, manage a live opportunity pipeline per partner and own every initiative from hypothesis to documented outcome.

You will work alongside Customer Growth, Marketing, Operations, Analysis, Tech and Compliance, acting as the connective tissue that ensures the affiliate channel performs with precision, consistency and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the affiliate and aggregator channel strategy to drive sustainable growth across credit cards and loans.
  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with key partners, ensuring 118 118 Money is positioned as a proactive and trusted partner.
  • Manage channel performance to achieve agreed commercial, quality and customer outcome targets, identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth.
  • Maintain a rolling 90-day plan per key partner covering promotions, optimisation priorities, risks and opportunities - updated regularly and used proactively, not reactively.
  • Lead the delivery of initiatives across the affiliate channel from planning through to execution, ensuring alignment across Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Analysis and Tech teams.
  • Oversee partner activity, promotions and customer journeys to ensure accuracy, compliance and a positive customer experience.
  • Use data, insight and performance reporting to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement across the channel by translating every insight into a clear action: Stop, Start, Scale, Fix or Test
  • Manage operational and commercial risks proactively, ensuring issues are identified, triaged the same-day, escalated and resolved effectively.
  • Maintain robust, audit-ready processes, reporting and governance standards to support a scalable, efficient and well-controlled affiliate operation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
