As the Partnerships Manager at LOOKFANTASTIC, you’ll:

  • Own and lead brand partnerships and retail media strategy for a defined category, delivering high-impact campaigns that drive measurable ROI and revenue growth.
  • Situated at the intersection of commercial, marketing, and eCommerce, you’ll ensure end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimisation while managing brand relationships and category performance.

This role demands commercial acumen, strategic foresight, analytical expertise, and the ability to lead campaigns while influencing internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

As Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for the following:

1. Brand & Partner Management

  • Own and lead relationships with key investing brands and partnership intermediaries.
  • Serve as the primary retail media contact, responsible for campaign planning, strategy, and performance.
  • Foster long-term, value-driven partnerships.

2. Retail Media Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement category-wide retail media strategies, aligned with brand objectives and trading priorities.
  • Create annual and campaign-level media plans in partnership with Joint Business Plans (JBP).
  • Continuously explore new revenue opportunities, inventory offerings, and innovative media placements.

3. Campaign Ownership & Execution

  • Lead full-life-cycle campaigns, from planning to execution and reporting.
  • Oversee major campaign activations, including product launches, hero campaigns, and peak trading periods.
  • Ensure timely delivery and compliance with strategic directives.

4. Commercial Ownership & Revenue Growth

  • Own brand budgets within your category, driving against revenue and profit targets.
  • Grow media investments through proactive pitching and upselling.
  • Participate in commercial negotiations (pricing, investment levels, and campaign scope).
  • Identify new revenue streams and strategies to maximise supplier investment.

5. Performance, Data & Insights

  • Analyse and report on campaign KPIs (ROAS, ROI, CTR, sales uplift, and customer acquisition).
  • Provide data-driven post-campaign analysis, offering actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage metrics and insights in real-time to refine active campaigns and refine future strategy.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Trading, CRM, Marketing, Tech, and Data teams.
  • Align retail media strategies with wider commercial objectives and category development.
  • Serve as the internal retail media lead for your category, ensuring coherence and support across teams.
  • Build strong relationships to facilitate seamless campaign delivery.

7. Strategy Development & Innovation

  • Conduct strategic reviews to identify growth opportunities in brands and categories.
  • Remain current on industry trends, media innovations, and platform advancements.
  • Implement data-led improvements to optimise performance and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to broader retail media strategy and process refinement.

8. Team Leadership & Development

  • Support and mentor junior team members, setting clear expectations.
  • Offer guidance on campaign execution, stakeholder management, and commercial decision-making.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and commercially driven culture.
  • Lead by example, ensuring effective communication, organisation, and execution excellence.

Who Are We Looking For?

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in retail media, digital marketing, eCommerce, or media planning.
  • Proven track record in managing brand relationships and achieving commercial revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, leveraging data to inform insights and action.
  • Hands-on experience owning campaigns from start to finish (planning, execution, reporting).
  • Confident communicator with excellence in stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in beauty, FMCG, or consumer brands.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail media platforms, sponsored ads, and programmatic channels.
  • Familiarity with business tools and analytics platforms such as Excel, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of full-funnel marketing (onsite, offsite, CRM, and affiliate strategies).
