Partnerships Manager - Mortgage Brokers

The Opportunity

We are working with a growing property services business that provides outsourced sales progression and conveyancing support to estate agents, mortgage brokers, and property professionals across England and Wales.

The business already has a strong reputation in the estate agency market and has developed a growing broker channel, currently working with around 50 broker partners. This has grown largely through existing relationships and organic activity, but the business is now ready to invest properly in scaling this part of the operation.

They are looking for a commercially driven Broker Partnerships Manager to take ownership of new broker acquisition, build a strong pipeline, and open up new relationships across the mortgage broker market.

This is a new business role, not an account management role. There is already an internal broker account manager in place who will support broker partners once they are signed and onboarded. Your focus will be on finding, engaging, and converting new broker partners.

The Role

The Broker Partnerships Manager will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and signing new broker partners who can benefit from a credible conveyancing panel and transaction support service.

You will be expected to create opportunities, run commercial conversations, overcome objections, and convert prospects into active partners. This could include individual brokers, broker firms, networks, introducers, and other key contacts who influence where conveyancing work is referred.

You will need to understand how broker businesses operate, where conveyancing fits into the client journey, and how to position the service as both a client benefit and a commercial opportunity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role would suit someone who is confident opening doors, building relationships quickly, and driving a sales process from the first conversation through to a signed agreement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and convert new mortgage broker partners.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Generate leads through outbound activity, referrals, networking, events, and campaign follow-up.
  • Run discovery calls, sales meetings, and commercial conversations with prospective partners.
  • Position the conveyancing and transaction support proposition clearly and commercially.
  • Understand each broker’s business model, referral process, and client journey.
  • Manage prospects through the full sales process from first contact to signed agreement.
  • Hand newly signed partners over smoothly to the internal broker account manager.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline reporting.
  • Share market feedback and insight with the wider business.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a driven new business salesperson with experience in the mortgage broker, estate agency, conveyancing, or wider property sector.

Ideally, you will already understand the broker market and have existing knowledge of how mortgage brokers operate. However, the business would also consider a strong estate agency or property-sector BDM who has the right sales mindset, commercial awareness, and ability to learn the broker market quickly.

You should bring:

  • A proven track record of winning new business.
  • Confidence selling into brokers, estate agents, or property-related businesses.
  • A genuine hunter mentality and the resilience to open cold or warm opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills and a credible, consultative sales style.
  • Good commercial judgement and the ability to link a service to a revenue opportunity.
  • Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and create momentum through the sales process.

Why Apply?
