About The Brit Spot

The Brit Spot is one of the UK’s leading social first publishers for young adults. Through our Instagram and TikTok channels, we reach around one in three UK adults aged 18 to 27 every month, with close to one million followers and more than 100 million impressions across our content monthly.

We help brands earn the attention of a generation that is increasingly difficult to reach through traditional advertising. We do this by creating social content that feels native to the feeds our audience already enjoys, while delivering meaningful commercial results for our partners. We have worked with brands including Uber Eats, Google Pixel, National Express, Premier Inn, Chipotle, Wise, Bolt and Arla.

We are a publisher, not an influencer or conventional agency. Our commercial proposition combines trusted editorial context, creative production and highly relevant media distribution. The business is growing quickly, and we are now looking for an exceptional Partnerships Manager to help build its next stage.

The Role

This is a hands on new business sales role. Partnerships is the industry title, but the core of the job is creating and closing commercial opportunities.

You will own the complete sales process, from deciding which brands and agencies to target and finding the right decision makers, through to generating conversations, leading meetings, developing proposals, negotiating and closing campaigns.

This is not primarily an account management role. You will be expected to create your own opportunities, build strong relationships and turn relevant conversations into a valuable commercial pipeline.

Successful outbound requires both quality and consistency. You should be comfortable researching prospects carefully, writing persuasive outreach, following up persistently and maintaining a strong pace of activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right β€” and where to focus when applying.

You will work directly with the Founder and closely with our editorial and production team. As part of a small and ambitious business, you will have significant ownership, fast access to decisions and the opportunity to shape how our commercial function grows.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of relevant brands, agencies and other commercial partners
  • Identifying the marketers, media planners, social leads and budget holders most likely to benefit from The Brit Spot
  • Creating thoughtful, personalised outreach across email, LinkedIn, calls, introductions and industry events
  • Booking and leading qualified new business meetings with senior marketers and agency teams
  • Understanding each prospect’s commercial objective, audience challenge, budget, timing and buying process
  • Turning conversations and briefs into persuasive campaign ideas, media packages and commercial proposals
  • Presenting confidently, handling objections, negotiating terms and asking directly for the business
  • Maintaining accurate opportunities, next actions and forecasts, while following up consistently until there is a clear outcome

What We Are Looking For

You may currently be a Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Account Executive or Partnerships Manager who is ready for greater ownership.

We are likely to be a strong fit if you have:

  • Commercial experience in media, publishing, branded content, social media, advertising, creator marketing or a closely related sector
  • Clear evidence that you can create opportunities yourself, rather than relying mainly on inbound leads or an established account list
  • Experience selling campaigns, media, creative services, sponsorships or another consultative proposition to brands or agencies
  • A practical understanding of how brands and agencies plan, buy and evaluate media
  • Strong prospecting habits and the confidence to use email, LinkedIn and the phone
  • The ability to write persuasive outreach and communicate credibly with senior marketers
  • Confidence leading meetings, presenting ideas, discussing budgets and asking for a decision
  • Excellent organisation, commercial curiosity, resilience and a hands on approach

An existing network of marketers and agency contacts would be useful, but it is not a substitute for the ability to build new relationships from scratch.

What You Will Get

  • A base salary of Β£35,000 to Β£40,000, depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission linked directly to the revenue you create
  • Direct access to the Founder and genuine influence over the commercial direction of a growing publisher
  • A distinctive proposition with a large UK audience and proven campaign results
  • Autonomy to test ideas, improve the sales process and pursue strong opportunities quickly
  • Clear scope to progress into a more senior commercial role as your results and the business grow
  • A hybrid working structure, with the team together in London on Mondays and Wednesdays

How To Apply

Please send your CV and a short note answering the following question:

What is the best new business opportunity you have personally created from a cold start, and what did you do to turn it into revenue?

We do not need a long cover letter. We care more about the evidence, your role in creating the opportunity and how you think about new business.

The Brit Spot is committed to building an inclusive team. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and assess candidates on the skills, evidence and potential relevant to the role.
