Marketing & Partnerships Manager– Flagship UK Consumer Event Location: Essex Salary: £40k-£50k + Bonus

We've been exclusively retained by one of the UK's most established events and media companies to find a Marketing Partnerships Manager for their headline consumer show, one of the largest and longest-running exhibitions of its kind in the UK, drawing over 130,000 visitors and 600+ exhibiting brands each year.

This is a genuine flagship role. You won't be one of many marketers on a portfolio of small brands, you'll be central to a single, high-profile, high-stakes event that people plan their year around.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You'll own the marketing strategy and delivery for the show end-to-end: multi-channel campaigns (email, PR, paid digital, social, ATL), partnerships and sponsorships, CRM and data, and, during the duration of the live event, you'll be on-site running the show's marketing presence in real time.

This is a hands-on, senior-level role with real autonomy to shape strategy and bring new ideas to the table.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-8+ years in marketing, ideally within live events, exhibitions, or large-scale consumer shows (this is a consumer/lifestyle background, not corporate B2B).
  • A track record of personally securing sponsors, celebrity partnerships, or high-profile collaborations, not just supporting them.
  • Comfortable owning multiple channels simultaneously, PR, paid, CRM, content, rather than specialising in just one.
  • Can point to measurable results: ticket sales growth, footfall increases, campaign ROI.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is willing to be fully immersed on-site for the event's live run.
