About the Role

Location: Stockport Volvo Contract Type: Full-time, permanent Salary: £28,500, plus bonus! Hours:

  • Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Sat: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (on a rota basis)

Job Title: Parts Advisor

Are you a Parts Advisor in search of a new challenge? You’ve arrived at the right place! We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join the successful team at our Stockport Volvo dealership.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to:

  • Join our friendly and professional team
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the parts department
  • Build customer relationships
  • Manage customer expectations

As a Parts Advisor, you will:

  • Ensure retail and workshop customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently
  • Secure that all orders are processed the same day
  • Complete administrative duties accurately and on time
  • Log stock discrepancies with the Parts Manager

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Parts Manager with daily duties
  • Completing vehicle health checks for the workshop
  • Ensuring parts inventory is correct and maintaining stock control
  • Receiving orders and updating returns documentation
  • Answering customer enquiries
  • Providing excellent customer care

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Practical knowledge of computer systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent people skills and customer-focused mindset
