Job title: Parts Advisor
Department: Activate Parts
Location: Huntingdon - Unit 1A, Spitfire Close, Huntingdon, PE29 6XY - This position is office based, you will need to live within commutable distance of the office.
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £26,227.50 per year
Fixed Term: Start date 01 September 2026 to end date 01 October 2027
We’re looking for a Parts Advisor to be part of our success story.
About the role
Responsible for the timely and accurate ordering and delivery of automotive parts to our customers. Communicating with both customers and suppliers ensuring the best value and service is always provided.
Key responsibilities
- Process orders from customers via supply network.
- Ensuring all orders provide the best value, availability and delivery timelines for our customers.
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Continually build product knowledge in order to have positive communication with suppliers.
- Use systems effectively to monitor and update orders and keep customers informed.
- Communicating via email and phone on a daily basis.
- Accurate and timely upload of invoices to the system.
- Process and prepare invoices upon completion of delivery.
- Liaise with finance department and others to ensure customers are charged correctly and suppliers pay on time.
- Provide additional customer support and participate in ad-hoc projects as required.

Skills and experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to deal professionally with customers and suppliers
- Excellent communication skills in all areas
- Experience of using multiple computer systems and Microsoft office software
- Capability to complete multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Resilient when under pressure

A bit about us
Activate Group is a fast-growing business approaching 1,000 team members nationwide.
We work with some of the UK’s largest fleets and insurance companies, supporting drivers that have been involved in road incidents through our contact centres in Halifax, Peterborough and Huddersfield.
We manage every step of the repair journey - repairing vehicles at our own Activate Accident Repair (AAR) body shops, as well as through a UK-wide network of trusted independent repair partners.
We also work with the UK’s largest vehicle manufacturers, supporting their approved repair programmes, and deliver innovative technology solutions to fleets, vehicle repair centres and dealerships.
