Location: Swindon

Position Type: Permanent – Full Time

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 6.00pm with ½ hour unpaid lunchbreak
  • Every third Saturday: 8.00am to 12noon

Salary: Dependent on experience

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our client based in their Swindon branch.

Duties:

  • Over the counter customer parts sales both in person and on the telephone.
  • Dealing with a busy workshop for orders and all makes parts.
  • Sourcing and ensuring the control and procurement of the same.
  • Involvement in stock controls and stock taking.
  • Issuing PPE equipment to staff.
  • Resolving invoice queries, sorting returns to suppliers, chasing for credits on the same.
  • Controlling warranty parts retention and processes.
  • Receive, record and allocate parts and consumables from suppliers.
  • Involvement in controlling waste disposal, purchasing of tools and equipment for the workshop including consumables.
  • Daily and weekly husbandry of the parts department and parts storage areas.
  • All parts are controlled by the dealer management system DMS.
