Role Description
The Parts Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Nantgarw. In this position, the team member will assist customers and trade clients in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts, accessories, and workshop equipment. Daily tasks include:

- Handling phone and in-person inquiries
- Checking stock availability
- Processing orders
- Coordinating with the warehouse to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Supporting dealer accounts
- Promoting suitable products and upsell opportunities where appropriate

The Parts Advisor will collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain high customer satisfaction and a professional, efficient parts counter environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on professional, helpful support for retail and trade clients.
- Experience or familiarity with Dealer Management and inventory systems used in automotive or similar environments.
- Effective Communication skills for phone, email, and face-to-face interactions with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of Inventory Control practices, including stock checks, order processing, and accurate record keeping.
- Basic automotive parts knowledge or a keen interest in vehicles and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work on-site in Nantgarw, including standing at the counter and handling products throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in parts advising, retail, or automotive service is beneficial but not mandatory.
