About The Role
Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our team in Coalville on a full-time, permanent basis. Working in Vehicle Solutions, part of Motability Operations Limited, the UK’s largest vehicle leasing company, the principal objective of this role is to ensure that parts are monitored and priced for any vehicles that are in consideration for refurbishment and sent for authorisation in a timely manner. Ensuring all parts are ordered and relevant system/documents are updated to reflect parts ordered/arrived, reporting into the Fleet Operations Manager, you will also be collaborating with other teams, booking out parts and consumables.
You will be working alongside another Parts Advisor and the Workshop Control Team to help achieve our Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and troubleshoot any problems that may arise in obtaining parts, assisting with the receiving and distribution of parts and consumables to the Bodyshop Team.
This role will be working 45-hours power week, Mon-Fri 07:00-17:00.
About You
The ability to be able to demonstrate effective time management, the Parts Advisor would need to be self-organised, structured and methodical in their approach, be an effective communicator and a Team Player, as this role requires a large amount of contact with many departments.
Minimum Criteria
- Experience in order processing or a similar role.
- Previous knowledge of the motor industry would be desirable but not essential.
- Full Driving Licence.

What We Do
We lease a wide range of tailored mobility solutions to people who receive of one of the Government’s qualifying mobility allowances. Our customers choose a car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair that best suits their needs. We take care of their insurance, breakdown, servicing and more, as part of our worry-free package.
At the end of the lease, our customers can exchange their vehicle for a brand-new model. Each year we sell and move around 200,000 cars. This makes us the largest supplier of single-source vehicles back into the used car market.
The Scheme has been providing affordable, worry-free motoring for over 45 years. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service, with an independent customer satisfaction rating of 9.6 out of 10.
