Salary & Benefits

Shifts Available

Weekdays

  • Dayshift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Backshift: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (Mon-Fri)

Saturdays

1 in 3 Saturdays paid at overtime (7 am – 1 pm)


About the Role

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of the parts department by providing thoughtful service to both internal and external customers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Supplying parts and components to workshop technicians.
  • Managing goods received and ensuring accurate stock control.
  • Handling customer sales enquiries, processing orders, and providing professional product advice.
  • Supporting urgent workshop requirements to minimise vehicle downtime.

The role demands proactive communication, strong organisational skills, and customer-focused attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

  • Supply parts and components promptly to workshop technicians.
  • Identify and source correct parts using electronic catalogues and manufacturer systems.
  • Assist with urgent workshop requirements to minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.
  • Serve retail and trade customers professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide product advice and technical parts information.
  • Handle calls regarding parts availability, pricing, and orders.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and support stock control.
  • Participate in stock counts and inventory audits.

Who We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Hold a driving licence.
  • Be able to identify and work with parts using catalogues and systems.
  • Have numerical aptitude for managing part numbers.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal teams and external customers.
  • Have selling and persuasive abilities to influence parts sales.
  • Be competent in documentation and accurate record-keeping.
  • Be technologically literate, with skills in DMS (Document Management System) and associated software.
  • Be proactive, enthusiastic, and approachable with a flexible and positive attitude to changes.
