Senior Parts Advisor

Are you an experienced Parts Advisor looking to take the next step with one of Northern Ireland's leading automotive retailers? We're partnering with an award-winning automotive group renowned for its customer service, innovation, and continued growth. Representing some of the world's leading vehicle brands, this business has built an exceptional reputation across Northern Ireland and continues to invest heavily in its people, technology, and aftersales operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and professional aftersales team where you'll play a key role in supporting both workshop technicians and customers by delivering an outstanding parts service.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Parts Advisor, you'll become a vital part of the aftersales operation, ensuring the right parts are available at the right time while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and support to internal workshop technicians and external customers.
  • Identifying and supplying the correct vehicle parts efficiently and accurately.
  • Processing customer enquiries via telephone, email and at the trade counter.
  • Maximising parts sales by identifying additional sales opportunities and promoting genuine manufacturer parts.
  • Managing parts orders from initial enquiry through to delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels through regular stock checks and inventory control.
  • Picking, packing and organising parts within the warehouse and stockroom.
  • Preparing parts in advance for workshop jobs to minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Delivering parts to local trade customers when required.
  • Maintaining accurate records using dealership management systems.
  • Supporting continuous improvements across the parts department.

About You

You'll be an organised, customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional service.

You'll bring:

  • At least 2-3 years' experience as a Parts Advisor or Senior Parts Advisor within the motor industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle components.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience working within a dealership, motor factor or automotive aftersales environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing stock and inventory.
  • Confidence working with computerised stock management or dealership management systems.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Candidates from motor factors or automotive parts environments with strong technical knowledge will also be considered.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Alternate Saturdays: 9:00am – 1:00pm
