Parts Advisor (Night shift) - Sheffield

PARTS ADVISOR (Night shift)

Ford and Slater are one the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. We currently have an exciting position as a Parts Advisor, working night shift, in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Sheffield.

Who Are We Looking For As a Parts Advisor

  • You will have previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the HGV, commercial vehicle, motor trade or an associated sector.
  • Or have experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment and have a passion for trucks and know your truck / trailer parts.
  • Experience in a parts or distribution operation involving inventory control, goods inwards, goods returns and order picking would be an advantage.
  • A customer focused individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working unsupervised whilst on night shift.
  • PC Literate.
  • Full UK driving licence.

The Parts Advisor role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • You will provide a professional parts service to internal and external customers.
  • To efficiently replenish stocks.
  • Placing inbound parts into the correct locations.
  • Identifying and picking outbound parts for distribution.
  • Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure effective and efficient customer response.
  • Maintain competent and complete records for all service exchange parts supplied / returned.
  • General housekeeping of the warehouse.
  • Promote and encourage growth of the parts business.

Working:

Monday to Thursday night shift 6pm – 6am.
