Parts Advisor
Parts Advisor - Dumfries
Location: BMW/Mini branch in Dumfries

Role Details
Title: Parts Advisor (no prior experience required – full training provided)
Hours: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:30) + alternate Saturdays (08:00–12:00)
About the Role
Do you have customer service experience or stock management skills? Our Parts Advisors keep workshops stocked with essential vehicle parts while assisting customers throughout their journey. Previous retail or stock-handling experience helps, but we’ll train you.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify parts required for each vehicle
- Order parts internally/externally
- Pick, pack, and dispatch parts efficiently
- Communicate seamlessly with workshops
- Deliver fast, accurate customer service
- Manage invoicing and digital communications
- Oversee stock levels to ensure smooth operations
Essential Skills
- Willingness to learn with enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Strong communication skills (friendly, clear, concise)
- Enjoyable customer interaction
- Familiarity with computers (training provided for all systems)
