Parts Advisor - Trade Supplier Level 2
Company: Midland Car Spares
Location: Wolverhampton WV3 0PU
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: Apprenticeship Minimum Wage + Performance-Related Bonuses
Apprenticeship Level: Level 2 Trade Supplier Qualification
Duration: 15 months (including End Point Assessment)

About The Apprenticeship
This 15-month apprenticeship programme, delivered in partnership with GTG, is designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a successful Parts Advisor.
You’ll gain hands-on experience across all areas of the business, learning how to deliver outstanding customer service, manage stock, process orders, and support workshop operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career in the automotive industry, with real opportunities for progression within the company upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities
As a Parts / Trade Supplier Apprentice, you will:
Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct vehicle parts (in person and over the phone) Provide accurate quotes and product information Handle customer queries and resolve issues effectively Process sales transactions, invoices, credits, and returns Support stock control, including ordering and stock checks Work closely with colleagues across the business Prepare and supply parts for workshop repairs Maintain up-to-date product knowledge

Entry Requirements
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above), including English and Maths

Is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn Has a genuine interest in the automotive industry Enjoys working as part of a team Has strong communication skills (face-to-face and telephone) Has good attention to detail, especially when handling part numbers Is comfortable using IT systems and willing to learn new processes Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service
