The Opportunity

At Lola Cars we are building something special.

As one of the most iconic names in motorsport, we design, engineer and manufacture world class race and road cars from our new headquarters at Silverstone. To do that, we need exceptional people behind every part of the operation.

We are looking for a highly organised Parts Coordinator with a Stores & Logistics focus to become a key part of the backbone of our workshop and vehicle programmes.

This is far more than a traditional parts role. You will be responsible for ensuring that every component, assembly, and consumable is exactly where it needs to be, when it needs to be. You will work alongside engineers, technicians, buyers, and suppliers to keep programmes moving, whether that is supporting the build of a prototype, preparing parts for testing, or ensuring race and test events have everything required to succeed.

If you are someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, takes pride in organisation and wants to work at the heart of a world class automotive business, we would love to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Owning the goods in and goods out process and areas.
  • Performing basic inspection on goods in to ensure we have got what we asked for.
  • Proactively checking our external partners have the Lola supplied parts they need.
  • Preparing components and equipment for vehicle builds, testing and race events.
  • Responsible for ensuring stock accuracy in our ERP system & champion its effective use.
  • Supporting logistics for vehicle build, test programmes, customer events, and race weekends, including occasional travel.
  • Helping maintain high standards of health, safety, and workshop organisation.
  • Being the person the team relies upon to know where everything is.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
