Are you an experienced Parts Manager?
If so … you could be just who Waylands are looking for to join our Parts team at Waylands Volvo, Oxford. Waylands Automotive are a successful and growing motor dealer group, with 15 sites across the M4 corridor extending into South Wales.
Working in our small, close-knit team, the ideal candidate should have a background in Aftersales within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be personable, highly motivated and able to achieve consistently high levels of customer service. They will also be an effective communicator with an interest in cars.
Essential Requirements
- You will possess excellent technical knowledge gained in the retail motor industry, as well as previous management experience in a similar role.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Able to take initiative and ownership of issues with a proactive can-do attitude
- Able to multi-task and switch between tasks
- A team player who offers help and support to others
- Liaise with other managers within the business
- Be adaptable and approachable always

What’s the Role?
- Achieving Parts sales volumes and profit objectives
- Overseeing the effective management of all Parts stock
- Recruiting, leading, training, motivating and developing the Parts Team
- Maintaining standards of performance in the Parts Department through coaching and development.
- Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts.
- Collaborate with the service and sales departments to meet their parts needs
- Providing excellent customer service to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilising the Kerridge system for inventory management, order processing, and reporting.
What Do You Get In Return?
- Mon-Fri 8am to 5.30pm with some Saturday mornings on a rota (46 hours pw).
- Generous basic with an OTE of £42k.
