Newcastle | Office-Based
£45,000 + Benefits

Drive Change. Improve Performance. Lead Growth.
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Parts Operations Manager to take ownership of a growing spare parts function within a Marine Technical Business.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to maintain the status quo. We're looking for a leader who can drive continuous improvement, develop the team, increase proactive sales activity, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance operational performance.
You'll lead from the front, combining hands-on involvement with strategic thinking to build a high-performing parts operation.
The Opportunity
As Parts Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the parts function while identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase revenue, and enhance customer service.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers, you'll play a key role in shaping the future direction of the department.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
