Parts Project Engineer – Services Specialist – Parts Services

The Role: Services Specialist – Parts Services
Partner with the best and join our team of technical experts. As a Parts Project Engineer, you will support both project delivery and parts order execution by:
- Providing technical input and resolving supply-chain bottlenecks.
- Ensuring the standardisation of documentation.
- Acting as a critical interface between engineering, procurement, and suppliers.
- Supporting customer-focused service initiatives.
- Operational execution of (RAMS) Technical Risk Assessments / Method Statements.
Key Responsibilities
As a Parts Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Standardising mechanical and winding risk assessments (RAMS) and method statements across rotating machine field service activities.
- Preparing ad-hoc, job-specific mechanical and winding RAMS as required for project scope and customer needs.
- Providing technical support for Generator/Motor parts deliverables, resolving queries between engineering, procurement, and parts functions efficiently.
- Coordinating parts project escalations:
- Managing technical queries with suppliers and the Brush Power Generation Engineering team.
- Ensuring project-dependent parts are timely delivered.
- Leading LTSA (Long-Term Service Agreement) parts orders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure water-tight technical specifications and deliverables.
- Supporting rotating equipment service industry operational requirements, including documentation quality and stakeholder communications.

Requirements
Must Have:
- Approximately 5 years of experience in the rotating equipment service industry.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities (must-have experience with industry certifications).
- Ability to interface directly with engineering, procurement, and suppliers.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills—able to identify issues, assess risks, and implement practical solutions.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience in procurement processes.
- Industry knowledge of generators and motors.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365).
