Role Description
The Parts Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kingswinford, with some flexibility for work from home. In this role, the individual will identify, source, and supply parts for plant machinery, responding to customer and internal service team requests accurately and promptly. Daily tasks include checking parts availability, preparing quotations, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining up-to-date records in the company’s systems. The Parts Specialist will liaise closely with technicians, suppliers, and customers to ensure the correct parts are selected and supplied, helping minimize machine downtime. The role also involves monitoring stock levels, assisting with inventory control, and providing clear, professional communication and advice to support the overall customer experience.

- Experience with parts identification, sourcing, and inventory management for plant, construction, or related machinery.
- Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice.
- Competence with computer-based systems, such as parts catalogues, inventory software, and basic office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and maintain accurate records.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure correct parts selection and resolve order or supply issues efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with on-site and remote team members.
- Previous experience in a parts, service, or technical support role within plant, automotive, or industrial sectors is beneficial.
- Relevant vocational or technical qualifications in mechanics, engineering, or a related field are an advantage but not essential.
