About The Role
Grade I, points 22–25 Salary: £29,244 – £31,556 per annum Contract: 37 hours/week, term-time only Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm

We are seeking a Pastoral Support Officer to join us from September 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter). This role is a key part of our year group team, working closely with the Head of Year. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing targeted pastoral support to students across a designated year group, including:
- One-to-one and small-group interventions in a variety of settings
- In-class support, reinforcing positive student behaviour and responsibility
- "Off-site" interventions as needed for students outside the school environment
- Responding to incidents and conflicts, applying school policies and promoting restorative practices

Additionally, you’ll contribute to the school’s goal of fostering a caring culture, where young people grow with confidence and resilience.
