If you live for the moment a dessert lands on the pass looking exactly as you imagined it, we would love to meet you.
The Twenty Two is a luxury boutique hotel and private members club set within a restored townhouse on Grosvenor Square, in the heart of Mayfair. Behind the doors is one of London's most talked-about pastry kitchens, creating plated restaurant desserts, afternoon tea, viennoiserie, petit fours, and exceptional pastry for private events. Every plate is an occasion, and pastry is where much of the magic happens.
We are looking for a talented Pastry Chef that is based in London to join our team. Whether you are developing your career or already have significant experience, this is an opportunity to work alongside an exceptional pastry team in a celebrated London property that takes craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail seriously. We are recruiting for positions based on your experience.
A day in the pastry kitchen
No two days are the same. One service you might be finishing delicate petit fours for a private members' event, the next you are plating restaurant desserts, preparing afternoon tea, laminating viennoiserie, or supporting the creation of seasonal pastry menus.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
