Pastry Sous Chef – Hertfordshire
£39,600 | 45 Hours Per Week | Permanent
We're looking for an experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join the culinary team at one of Hertfordshire's leading hospitality destinations.
Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in producing exceptional desserts, artisan pastries and bakery items across a diverse operation that includes premium visitor dining, hospitality, retail food concepts and large-scale events.
The Role
- Lead and support the pastry kitchen to deliver consistently exceptional food.
- Develop seasonal desserts, pastries and bakery items.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality and presentation.
- Manage stock, ordering, wastage and GP.
- Coach and develop the pastry team.
- Deputise for the Head Chef when required.

About You
You'll be an experienced Pastry Sous Chef or an ambitious Senior Pastry Chef de Partie with a passion for fresh food, creativity and delivering exceptional quality.
