About The Venue

OVG's landmark partnership with Southampton Football Club represents a significant step forward in elevating the fan experience at St Mary's Stadium.

We're already delivering a complete transformation of all food and beverage outlets; working closely with the club to provide new menu items, shorter wait times, better service, and enhanced hospitality across every touchpoint

We're fans first and believe food and drink are central to the fan experience. From grab-and-go options at concourses throughout the stadium, alongside premium offerings in hospitality suites and bars, all designed to create an outstanding matchday experience for every fan up to corporate hospitality.

Role Purpose

Pastry Chef de Partie – Southampton Football Club

Join the team at Southampton Football Club as a Pastry Chef de Partie, creating and delivering high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods in a fast-paced, exciting stadium environment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced pastry chefs seeking flexible, casual work during matchdays and major events at St Mary’s Stadium. Work alongside a professional hospitality and catering team, supporting premium matchday hospitality, conferences, events, and large-scale catering operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef, or Chef in a fast-paced kitchen, hospitality, stadium, or events environment
  • Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, dessert production, baking techniques, and food presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy matchdays and high-volume service periods
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive team player with a positive and professional attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and stadium events

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and sweet menu items to professional standards
  • Supporting matchday hospitality, corporate events, conferences, and catering operations across St Mary’s Stadium
  • Assisting with food preparation, stock rotation, ingredient management, and kitchen organisation
  • Maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Working collaboratively with chefs, kitchen teams, and wider hospitality staff to deliver outstanding service

  • Pay rate: £18.90 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
  • Contract type: Casual / Matchday
  • Location: St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton
  • Shifts: Flexible, based on home matchdays, conferences, hospitality functions, and stadium events
